2025 Extension Master Gardener℠ Program of Polk County

The Extension Master Gardener class meets on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm beginning in August and ending mid-November.  The classes will be held at the extension office located at 79 Carmel Lane, Columbus.  You will learn all aspects of horticulture in both lecture and hands on labs.  No prior experience is necessary?  You will learns loads of practical information and skills as well as meet others in the community that have similar interests.  Once you complete the class you will have the option to join our Master Gardener group and participate in activities such as our research garden, nursery propagation and day trips.
