The Polk County NC State Extension is holding an Open House on August 6th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Everyone is invited.

Come out and see the new 4-H Barn, 4-H Activity Room and our newly renovated kitchen. The 4-H barn houses the goats for the 4-H goat program.  The goats are locked in the barn every night to prevent loss due to a potential bear raid.  The activity room is a large work area and meeting space for the 4-H program.  It is an ample room that was designed to facilitate the 4-H sewing program sewing machines.  The newly renovated kitchen is bright, spacious and up-to-date and will provide a wonderful cooking experience for all.

The extension agents will be available for questions.  Refreshments will be provided.
