Dill Pickle Canning Class

In this class we will be learning how to prepare and process water bath canned dill pickles. Each participant will receive a recipe printout describing how they can repeat the process at home. The day following the class, and for a week after, participants will be able to stop by and pick up their jar of "homemade" pickles to take home. The class will be held on Tuesday, May 16th from 1 to 3:30 pm. The class fee is $15 and must be received no later than May 9th. Registrants who do not submit payment by the deadline will be replaced by candidates on the waiting list. The class limit is 12. Please do not sign up and hold a spot if you are not certain you can attend. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Class will be held at the Extension office located at 79 Carmel Lane, Columbus. Please make checks payable to HEEF and mail to PO Box 187, Columbus, NC 28722. You may deliver your payment in person to 79 Carmel Lane, Columbus.
