Fall 4-H Registration

Registration for the Fall semester of Polk County 4-H started this week! We are looking forward to building life skills, sparking new interests, and growing our 4-H community.

This semester we are offering five in-person programs and one virtual one. 4-Hers ages 5-18 can choose from:
  • Polk Poultry Program (Ages 9 & up) - This is the first of a two-semester club designed to teach members how to care for and show poultry.
  • Cloverbud 4-H Discovery - Youth ages 5-8 will take part in hands-on activities designed to help build such skills as decision making, discovery, communication, self-confidence, and building relationships.
  • The Science of Racing (Ages 9-12) - This STEM program introduces youth to the engineering, physics, and safety mechanisms involved in the world of racing.
  • Teen Council (Ages 12 & up) - This 4-H teen leadership group will help teens develop leadership skills while helping to build a strong county 4-H program.
  • Clover Kitchen (Ages 9 & up) - Youth will learn about food preparation as well as food and kitchen safety and nutrition.
  • Intro to Graphic Design (Virtual Club for ages 12 & up) - Learn to visually communicate ideas and information by understanding the basics of balance, composition, color, fonts, and more. Zoom class.
