Registration for the 2022 Polk 4-H Summer Fun program is open! We are looking forward to building life skills, sparking new interests, and growing our 4-H community.

This semester 4-Hers ages 5-18 can choose from:- Polk Poultry Club (Ages 8 & up) - designed to teach members how to care for and show poultry.
- Cloverbud Exploration - Youth ages 5-8 will take part in hands-on activities designed to help build such skills as decision making, discovery, communication, self-confidence, and building relationships.
- STEM Series - The Secret Code (Ages 10 & up) - Explore what makes you uniquely you and how crime scene investigators use these tools to identify potential suspects. Isolate you own DNA in a fun experiment.4-H Craft Camp (Ages 12 & up) - Create some unique art pieces using a variety of art mediums, including clay, string art and a barn quilt.
- Garden to Plate (Ages 9 & up) - Youth will learn about food preparation as well as food and kitchen safety, nutrition.
- Sewing Program (Ages 9 & up) - This program is open to boys AND girls and will teach beginning sewing machine skills while we make a cool bandana lap quilt.
- Horse Club - (Ages 8 & Up) Learn about many of the important topics related to horses.
- Explore Electric- (Ages 9 & up) Learn about basic principals of electric as you make your own lamp.
