Eager 4-Hers met during the months of November and December to develop sewing skills and create projects of their own. The classes included both first-timers and well-seasoned sewers, and volunteers worked with each student to provide individually-tailored experiences.

During the first class, students practiced sewing basics by hand sewing felt Christmas ornaments and practicing stitches on the sewing machine. During the remaining classes, each student worked to complete a patterned project. Beginners excitedly created cute and fluffy stuffed geese.

Intermediate students were encouraged to build upon their skillset by completing a garment. Sewing students had a blast with the help of our wonderful volunteers! All of our students did great with their projects!
